There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top-up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum. This will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Support Worker to join our Torfaen School Nursing Team, working 30 hours per week, all year round.
This role involves working under the supervision of the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) to deliver programs such as the Healthy Child Wales Programme, Child Measurement Programme, Vision Screening, and supporting the school-based immunisation programme Gwent-wide.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training will be provided. Experience working with children and/or community work is also advantageous.
The successful candidate must be flexible to meet the needs of the service and be able to cover the geographical area of the role.
As a member of the school nursing service, you will work in various community settings providing clerical support and clinical tasks involving direct contact and care of school-age children under supervision.
