Job summary

Eden Futures invites applications for a full-time Support Worker. The role covers supported living across home and community settings, helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live as independently as possible. A pathway of learning and development is provided with recognition of staff achievements.

Salary is paid at £12.71 per hour, equating to roughly £27,758.64 per year for a 42-hour week, pro-rata’d for actual hours. A £500 refer-a-friend bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life according to their wishes and care plans.
• Help individuals stay safe and safeguarded from harm.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, finances and medication as appropriate.
• Serve as informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report health and wellbeing issues to monitoring systems.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and promote welfare of others.
