Job summary

Eden Futures is hiring Specialist Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities in Supported Living settings and community-based activities. The role offers progression through learning and development pathways, including Care Certificate and apprenticeships, with a focus on person-centred care and safeguarding.

The position is full-time, based in the UK, with a clear pay rate of £13.20 per hour (£28,828.80 annually for a 42-hour week).

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-12 months working within care.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and plans.
• Safeguard service users and respond to safeguarding concerns.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, finances, medication, practical tasks, personal care and health needs.
• Serve as a point of contact for families and social workers.
