Job summary

Eden Futures is seeking a Specialist Support Worker to join our Supported Living services across the UK, helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs to live as independently as possible, in their own homes and in the community.

We value care with compassion, offer clear development pathways, and provide interview questions to help you shine. The role is paid at £13.75 per hour, based on a 42-hour week, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-12 months of experience in care.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and choices, with agreed care plans.
• Safeguard individuals and respond to safeguarding concerns.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, finances, medication, and personal care as needed.
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report and record health and wellbeing information.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
