Job summary

Mencap in Hatfield Woodhouse is seeking caring Support Workers to help people with learning disabilities in our complex services. You’ll assist with daily tasks, personal care, medication, and activities, making a real difference every day.

A UK driving licence is required. Roles include shifts, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins (sleep-ins paid at £64.20). All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and references. 37.5 hours per week.

Contract options

37.5 hours

Shifts

• Days: Varied shifts between 07:00-22:00 (rota basis, must be flexible to do sleep ins)
• Waking Nights - 22:00-08:00
• Sleep ins required on days and paid at a flat rate of £64.20
• Must be flexible to cover weekends on a rota basis
