Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting a Support Worker for the States of Guernsey Adult Disability Service in Guernsey, Channel Islands. The role involves 24-hour support within the Supported Living Team, focusing on enabling independence and dignity for adults with learning disabilities.

Working to the Active Support Model, the post requires a driving licence, UK/Guernsey eligibility, and 37.5 hours per week. Salary £30,434–£35,627 per annum with closing date 31 December 2026.

Qualifications

• Recognised NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant full-time healthcare experience.
• A valid driving licence.
• Authorization to work in the UK and Guernsey.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care.
• Medication management.
• Assist with cooking, cleaning, and household tasks.
• Support community access and social inclusion.
• Help service users manage finances and daily living activities.
• Act as a Key Worker.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Uphold the highest standards of care and safeguarding.
