The Society of St James is seeking a dedicated practitioner to support vulnerable people in a residential setting and to manage a caseload with a focus on harm minimisation and safeguarding.

You will work as part of a team, build positive relationships, and communicate effectively with clients and partner organisations. Flexible patterns and a UK driving licence (not essential) are considered. We offer a supportive environment and a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people or in a residential setting.
• Ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively.
• Experience in support planning, risk assessments and safeguarding.
• Flexible to meet the needs of clients with empathy.
• Knowledge of local services and driving licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients.
• Provide day-to-day support with harm minimisation.
• Promote basic life skills and emotional support.
• Communicate with internal and external contacts.
• Work flexibly to meet client needs.
