The Society of St James is seeking a dedicated practitioner to support vulnerable people in a residential setting and to manage a caseload with a focus on harm minimisation and safeguarding.

The ideal candidate would have experience of working with vulnerable people or in a residential setting, working as part of the team, you will manage a case-load of clients and be committed to providing a good quality day-to-day service with a focus on promoting harm minimisation, basic life skills and emotional support. You will have the ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external contacts and clients. You will be experienced in support planning, risk assessments and safeguarding vulnerable clients. We are looking for someone who can work flexibly to meet the needs of clients, a sense of humour and empathy for the client group is essential. The ideal candidate has knowledge of local services and holds a valid UK driving licence but not essential.
We're looking for someone to work 30 hours per week spread over 4 days-we can discuss and agree on the exact schedule together. We're open to different working patterns.
