Job summary

Jobtrain Wellington is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our residential service. You’ll help people gain independence, support daily activities, and engage with the local community in a warm, caring environment.

Being a driver with a full UK licence is preferred, and you will follow Positive Behaviour Support plans while supporting individuals with various needs. DBS checks are required for offers.

Qualifications

• Caring, hands-on approach to support others.
• Ability to help people gain independence in daily life.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience with individuals requiring enhanced support, including trauma.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily lives within a supportive team.
• Teach new life skills and assist with personal care.
• Encourage access to local communities, socialising and activities.
• Support individuals with daily routines and leisure activities.
