Job summary

Dane House in Brighton, part of Elysium Healthcare, is seeking a permanent full-time Support Worker to deliver compassionate care to people with learning disabilities and autism, helping them on their recovery pathway.

You will join an inclusive team, perform ward rounds, monitor behaviours, update records, and provide personal care with compassion, resilience, and vigilance in a rewarding setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in care for people with learning disabilities or autism.
• Compassion, resilience and vigilance in challenging environments.
• Ability to work in a team and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Join an inclusive team to provide care to people with learning disabilities and autism.
• Conduct ward rounds, analyse behaviours, and adapt care accordingly.
• Update patient records and provide overall care and support, including personal hygiene.
• Work on rotas: 37.5 hours per week, shifts between 7am and 10pm, including every other weekend.
