You will joining a supportive team providing care to adults with learning disabilities and autism, with duties including ward rounds, updating records, and personal care. This permanent role is 35 hours weekly on shifts between 7am and 10pm, including weekends.

What You Will Be Doing

You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of needs, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.

Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you've made someone's life better.

This is a permanent, full-time position, 35 contracted hours a week, working on shifts, between the hours of 7am and 10pm, including weekends, on a rota basis.

**You must have relevant experience with autism and epilepsy, and be willing to undergo a DBS check.**

Where You Will Be Working:

Location: 1 Prideaux Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN21 2NW

Ranworth House is a 9-bed residential service with ensuite bedrooms, for all gender identities who have a learning disability, or who are autistic, and have behaviours which, due to their diagnosis, may be of concern/distress. Residents may also have profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems.
