Job summary

Acuity Care Group is seeking a female Support Worker to assist a young man with complex care needs in his family home near Doncaster. You will help with everyday wellbeing, feeding and mobility, while learning his unique communication cues and routines.

The role requires weekend availability, patience, and a person-centred approach in a busy family environment. Training, DBS support, and career progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex clinical or developmental needs is desirable.
• Experience supporting non-verbal individuals and interpreting sounds and cues.
• Excellent spoken and written English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support a young man with complex clinical needs in a family home.
• Assist with daily living, positioning and personal care tasks.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and clinical guidance.
• Engage in activities to promote wellbeing and independence.
• Collaborate with a wider care team and parents.
