Job summary

Sugarman Health & Wellbeing Limited are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our Doncaster team. You will provide companionship and practical support to a male service user with Autism, Schizophrenia and challenging behaviours, promoting independence at home and in the community.

You’ll work a 36-hour week across a rotating shift pattern (days and nights) and contribute to a safe, supportive care environment with training and ongoing professional development provided.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months of professional UK care experience.
• Experience with Autism and Challenging Behaviour.
• Provide correct compliance documents, updated right to work and original DBS certificate.
• Able to attend Safety Intervention training, which is provided by Sugarman Health and Wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and daily support to the service user within home and community settings.
• Build a positive relationship with the service user and their family.
• Support independence and manage behaviours with effective communication.
