At Paragon Social Care, we're on a mission to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable and challenging children and young people under the care of local councils. During those crucial periods between long-term placements, we step in with 24/7 support until a more suitable arrangement is found.
Our reach extends across the UK, seeking highly flexible support workers who can adapt to various locations and short-term stays. This role is ideal for those without major commitments at home.
Previous experience with challenging youth is welcome, but we also train newcomers. Essential qualities include understanding, patience, an engaging personality, professionalism, dedication, and adaptability.
We offer competitive weekly pay. Core responsibilities include ensuring safety and emotional well-being, assisting with personal care, organizing activities and outings, attending appointments, cooking, maintaining a tidy environment, and participating in staff meetings.
Safeguarding children is our top priority. We create a safe, nurturing environment guided by Trauma-Informed and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) frameworks.
If you are highly flexible, have a clear DBS, possess a full UK Right To Work, and demonstrate professionalism and dedication, please get in touch!
