The Avenues Trust Group is hiring a Support Worker in Margate, Kent. You’ll support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives, across a seven-day rota. No previous social care experience required—full training is provided and you’ll gain valuable transferable skills.

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable and positive person who enjoys helping others.
• Experience in social care is not required; training will be provided.
• Transferable skills from customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education or volunteering are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently.
• Assist with daily living activities and promote community inclusion.
• Support personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Encourage engagement in local activities and manage finances with guidance.
