Job summary

Worcestershire County Council in Worcester is recruiting Support Workers for Greenhill Lodge. The roles cover mornings, evenings and weekends across various day shifts, with a part-time contract of 21 hours per week.

The aim is to provide person-centred care to individuals with complex needs, helping with daily activities and promoting independence in the community. You will be joining a new unit opening in Worcester, with access to public transport.

Qualifications

• Flexibility and enthusiasm are essential.
• Good recording skills are essential.
• Communication both verbally and in writing is important.
• Computer skills are advantageous.
• Ability to work well in a team and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Assist individuals to participate in community activities.
• Follow health plans, eating and drinking plans, and risk assessments.
• Support mobility and transfer needs as required.
• Respect rights and dignity of people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
