Job summary

Worcestershire County Council at Greenhill Lodge, Worcester, invites applications for Support Workers nights shifts on permanent contracts. The role is 27 hours per week with a salary of £18,985 per annum plus night enhancements.

We support adults with complex needs including learning disabilities, physical needs, mental health and autism in a person-centred care setting. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities and community engagement, with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Flexible and enthusiastic with good verbal and written communication.
• Good recording skills are essential.
• Experience or understanding of learning disabilities is advantageous.
• Team player with initiative and reliability.
• Willingness to learn and attend training.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and day-to-day support with daily living activities.
• Encourage participation in meaningful activities and community engagement.
• Support individuals to access community resources and activities.
• Maintain accurate records and work as part of the care team.
