Job summary

Thera Trust seeks enthusiastic support workers to join our inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. You will help create innovative ways to support individuals to achieve their own goals and ambitions, using a person-centred approach to empower independence.

Roles may be in clients' own homes or out in the community. We offer annualised hours with a guaranteed monthly salary for full and part-time roles, flexible hours, training, DBS check, pension and progression

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care setting is required for this position.
• Comfortable with lone working and supporting individuals with Mental Health Needs.
• Compassionate, caring, confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and emotional support to adults with learning disabilities.
• Support individuals to plan and manage their own home and routines.
• Assist with leisure, employment, and personal development activities.
• Promote person-centred approaches to help people live their chosen lives.
