Job summary

Riverside in Maidstone is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help customers move towards independence and tenancy readiness. You will coordinate bespoke support plans, track progress, and collaborate with employability coaches and service partners to improve life skills and financial independence.

This rewarding role requires empathy, resilience and the ability to work flexibly, including lone working, to meet customers’ needs across our services.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Be a team player with a caring, empathetic nature and resilient can-do attitude.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people, possibly with lived experience of homelessness or addiction.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including lone working.

Responsibilities

• Lead on co-producing bespoke support and move-on plans with stakeholders.
• Organise and carry out regular reviews of support and risk plans.
• Engage customers to meet outcomes and develop life skills.
• Support customers with day-to-day tenancy matters and budgeting.
• Identify opportunities for employment, education and training and remove barriers.
