Job summary

CareTech Community Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker (Female) in West Bromwich to join New Street North service. The role involves delivering person-centred support, assisting with daily living, and promoting wellbeing within a structured environment. Applicants must be able to work a rota and have DBS checks.

Salary £12.79 per hour
Permanent | Full -Time Contract | 36hours per week

About the Service – New Street North

New Street North is a registered residential care service, supporting adults aged 18+ in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. The service promotes independence, choice, and wellbeing through tailored, person-centred support.

Service User Interests

• Arts and crafts
• Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.
• Holidays and short breaks
• Walks in the local park and community
• Cooking and baking to develop life skills

The Role

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
