CareTech in Folkestone is hiring a Female Support Worker to provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs within Grosvenor Court. The role involves daily living assistance, personal care, and helping clients maintain independence in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.
Evidence of strong communication, reliability, and flexibility is essential. Training is provided, with a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
Location: Folkestone, Kent
Rate: £13.03 per hour
Permanent | Full-time | 35 hours per week

Grosvenor Court is a 13 Bedded Residential Home for Learning Disabilities, majority are all wheelchair bound and require hoisting etc., there is a lot of personal care involved as the majority are doubly incontinent. Easy access to public transport. Close to local shops, with a well‑maintained garden.

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
