We are looking for Female Support Workers in New Milton to cover various shifts from part time and relief to suit you.
We are looking for people who share our values and can support people to have the life they want to live. We are supporting two young autistic people in their own home in New Milton. Both people need a degree of support to navigate their lives. They are gentle and enjoy a peaceful environment, and we support them to develop in their decision making. Empowerment is the key word and we have seen them develop into very capable young people. We are looking for people who have an interest in art, animals, sewing, walking and drawing.
Colleagues need to be able to drive the vehicles belonging to the people we support (manual drivers only) as they enjoy a wide range of social activities within the surrounding area. Daily walks in the New Forest and local beaches are essential, as well as support to attend local clubs, animal therapy, swimming and a variety of other activities.
There are a variety of shifts available. You would be expected to sleep over on a rotation basis and work alternate weekends. The role would suit part time working, but we will consider full time.
