Job summary

Radis Community Care in Congleton is hiring part-time Support Workers for the Heath View Extra Care Service. You will assist elderly residents with daily living, mobility, personal care, and social activities, promoting independence and dignity.

The role offers flexible shifts (07.30-14.30, 13.00-19.00, 14.30-22.00) from Mon-Fri with alternate weekends, paid by BACS every 4 weeks, and full training including Care Certificate and dementia care. Full PPE provided.

Radis Community Care have an opportunity for Support Workers to join our team based in Heath View Extra Care Service, Congleton.

£12.80 Weekdays, £13.10 Weekend days.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme you will be predominately supporting the elderly who are finding it difficult to cope due to physical frailty, enabling them to maintain independence. The role involves aiding the people we support - often with restricted restricted mobility - to move to dining areas at meal times, communal areas for social activities and to the privacy of their bedrooms at their request.

The role will require you to assist the people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with the people we support, both individually and as a group.

The role is to promote the people we supports' independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standards of support.
