Radis Community Care is looking for dedicated and resilient people like you in
Leylandright now.
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme you will be supporting the elderly who are finding it difficult to cope due to physical frailty, enabling them to maintain their individuality and vital independence. You’ll help the people we support - often with restricted mobility - to move to dining areas at meal times, communal areas for social activities and to the privacy of their bedrooms and bathrooms at their request.
You’ll help them with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing – this will mean you’ll understand the importance of privacy and dignity – so important to everyone. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by being a part of the recreational and social activities with the people we support, and as a group.
And always with a kind smile and a supportive word, even when sometimes a day is challenging!
Established in 2001, Radis Community Care has grown to become a leading provider of community based social care and support for thousands of vulnerable adults and children in England and Wales, focused on supporting people to live independently in their own homes and part of their local communities.
We support a range of people including the elderly and people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet the individual needs of the people we support, our support ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in support and can either be short or long-term.
Radis Community Care is an Equal Opportunities Employer that welcomes applicants from all sections of the community.
To apply for this role, you must have the right to live and work in the UK. We will request evidence of your immigration status as part of our recruitment process.
