Job summary

Sense Scotland is recruiting Support Workers for the Forfar Housing Support Service to assist four individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will provide person-centred support, help with daily living, and promote independence in a safe and supportive environment.

We value compassion, flexibility, and teamwork. The role offers permanent contracts with full-time or part-time hours, and shifts including early, late and waking night patterns.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people through behaviours that may challenge you
• Delivering a varied range of personal care
• Manual handling and wheelchair pushing
• Administering and supporting with medication
• Cooking/Meal preparation and menu planning
• Support with household tasks including cleaning and shopping
• Provide support with finances
• Support to go on holidays or short breaks
• Writing and maintaining support plans and risk assessments
