Job summary

Certitude is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help people live the life they want. You will provide specialist support to enable person-centred outcomes for individuals with complex needs, maximising independence and community participation.

• Experience supporting people with complex needs, including autism or learning disabilities.
• Ability to stay calm and confident in challenging situations.
• Manual driving licence and willingness to drive a 7-seater van.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the lives of those you support.
• Use recovery-oriented and person-centred planning tools.
• Ensure all plans and records relating to the people we support are accurate and up to date.
• Support with everyday tasks to maximise the individual’s independence.
• Work with local managers and team members to ensure a great service.
• Undertake various levels of personal care and manual handling.
