Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our Isfryn service in the Swansea valleys near Ystradgynlais. You will support eight residents with daily living, activities, and health needs in a calm but rewarding environment.

Responsibilities include promoting independence, helping with personal care, budgeting, outings, and community activities, with DBS check fully funded and ongoing development opportunities through QCF qualifications.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving License - essential.
• Experience in health and social care is beneficial.
• Applicants must be over 18 due to service nature.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine for the people we support.
• Promote independence and help them live a fulfilling life.
• Support and encourage development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Assist with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments and administering medications.
• Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assist with personal care and domestic tasks (cleaning and cooking).
• Provide guidance and emotional support to residents.
