Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health needs at our Colsterworth services, near Grantham. You will help people live independently in their own homes within the local community and contribute to outcome-focused support.

The role offers various hours (full-time, part-time, and bank) and a strong emphasis on person-centred care, daily living activities, and positive behavioural support.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required beyond right to work.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging independence and community participation.
• Assisting with activities of daily living including personal care, meals, planning and budgeting.
• Communicating using the individual's preferred methods.
• Engaging to motivate and improve quality of life.
• Specialising in positive behavioural support when needed.
• Recording changes in health or circumstances and reporting to management.
• Working as part of a team and on own initiative.
