Job summary

Agincare Weymouth are seeking a dedicated Support Worker for services in Colsterworth, near Grantham, to support individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, mental health and complex needs in a home-like setting. You will help people live as independently as possible in their own homes and local community.

We offer £12.90 per hour, with full-time, part-time and bank positions. Benefits include funded training, pension, refer-a-friend rewards and a Blue Light card.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
• Full time, Part Time and Bank positions available.
• Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging people to participate in community activities to promote independence.
• Supporting activities of daily living including personal care, meals, routines and budgeting.
• Communicating effectively using the individuals' preferred methods of communication.
• Engaging individuals to improve quality of life and promote empowerment.
• Specialising in positive behavioural support when needed and appropriate.
• Recording accurate information and reporting changes in health or circumstances to management.
• Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.
