Voyage Care in Halifax is seeking a caring and proactive Support Worker to help people gain independence and improve quality of life. You will work in a supported living service, enabling daily tasks, cooking, cleaning and community access with a friendly team.

Typical shifts include a mix of days and nights; some sleep-in work may be required. A full UK driving licence is preferred and a calm, flexible approach is essential to support individuals with mental health needs or trauma.

Qualifications

• Must be a caring, hands-on Support Worker.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Resilient, flexible and composed in approach; experience with distressed behaviours and mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life.
• Assist with personal care, cooking and cleaning when required.
• Encourage access to local communities and social activities.
• Support clients with daily routines and transport to activities.
• Engage in activities at the service or in the community.
