Job summary

Voyage Care in Peterborough is looking for compassionate caregivers to support people in a welcoming, supported living service. You will help individuals build independence and confidence while assisting with daily living tasks and community activities.

Hours include a variety of shifts from 8am to 3pm and 3pm to 10pm, with nights available. The role offers enhanced pay for evenings and weekends and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with autism or related needs is beneficial.
• Care values, attitude and genuine desire to make a difference matter most.
• Previous care experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Empower independence and support clients to achieve their goals.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Encourage engagement with local community and activities.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to individuals.
• Support individuals to navigate routines and daily tasks.
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflect on practice.
• Help people feel heard, respected and valued.
