Job summary

Turning Point UK is recruiting a Support Worker in Barton-le-Clay to help adults with learning disabilities live independently and engage in daily activities in a 6-bed residential setting. The role involves supporting residents both in-house and in the community, including outings and transport where needed.

You will join a team focused on person-centred care, with opportunities for Level 2/3 training after probation.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence of people we support
• Assist with daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out or holidays
• Arrange activities in the home and local community
• Develop residents' life skills and personal interests
• Help residents stay safe and healthy and assist with personal care
• Manual handling where needed and support with medication
• Maintain records and support service monitoring requirements
