Job summary

Cartref Homes is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Supported Living Scheme in Sheerness. You will help adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges to live more independently, delivering 24-hour support across three services with a team that values kindness and resilience.

Starting salary is £27,958 (inclusive of one sleep-in per week). The role requires empathy, reliability, and a willingness to grow with the residents as they pursue daily goals and

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, or mental health challenges is desirable.
• Able to support with daily routines and personal goals.
• Comfort with developing daily-life skills like budgeting, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults to live more independently within three services.
• Provide 24-hour support as part of a dedicated team.
• Encourage participation in hobbies, activities, and community engagements.
• Support tenants in rights expression and communication needs.
