Job summary

Priority Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Support Worker for a client in Wythenshawe. The role involves 36 hours spread over 3 waking nights per week (8pm–8am) with flexibility over nights.

The client is a non-verbal individual with cerebral palsy needing full personal care, PEG feeding, oxygen support, and safe transfers using hoists. Applicants should be physically fit for long shifts and skilled in complex care with children.

Qualifications

• Provides care for a client with cerebral palsy and other complex conditions.
• Requires confidence in complex care scenarios and manual handling.
• Experience with PEG feeding, hoisting, and continence support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care and continence support.
• Assist transfers and positioning using a hoist.
• Support client with sensory activities and home-based routines.

• Our client is PEG fed, oxygen dependant and hoisted for transfers and requires full personal care and continence support

• This role requires someone confident in complex care with children and use of complex equipment
• Must be physically fit for manual handling tasks and long shifts
