Job summary

Amore Complex Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Widnes to provide person-centred, compassionate support for a 40-year-old gentleman with autism and physical disabilities. You will receive full training tailored to the individual you will support, with goals and daily living skills at the heart of the role.

The role involves driving (driving licence required) and supporting activities in the community, with shifts including long day 12-hour blocks and waking nights.

Qualifications

• Confident personalities who are eager to learn – you will be well-equipped with mandatory training including medication handling, manual handling, and client-specific hoist training.
• Positive outlook and sociable personality.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support a gentleman with autism and physical disabilities.
• Assist with goal-oriented activities and daily living skills.
• Monitor wellbeing and safety.
• Assist with personal care and sensory needs.
• Support with household duties such as cooking and cleaning.
• Help develop and maintain positive relationships in the community.
