Meet the First Person You’ll Be Supporting

I am a 40-year-old man and I love getting out and about in my community and engaging with my support team.

What are my support requirements?

I have autism and physical disabilities, so I use a wheelchair and other physical aids to move around.

I can feel anxious at times, which can lead to me presenting behaviours of concern. But I’m a very caring, energetic person, who is fun to be around.

What am I looking for in a Support Worker?

I’m a fun and bubbly guy, and I love to have fun with my staff. It is important to me that my staff team will have a joke and banter with me.

As I love going out in my mobility vehicle, which my team can drive, I am looking for staff who can drive.

What are my aspirations?

I enjoy lots of activities! From visiting a safari park and going bowling to enjoy a delicious Sunday dinner.

My activities are a big part of my lifestyle, and I am looking for engaging Support Workers to help me get out into the community, gain new experience and continue the hobbies I enjoy.
