Job summary

Central Bedfordshire Council in Dunstable is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Linsell House. You will assist residents with personal care, daily living skills and activities, helping them to live as independently as possible in a caring, safe environment.

Roles include medications administration and supporting the care team across a 24/7 shift pattern, with days, nights, evenings and weekends. NVQ Levels 2/3 in Health and Social Care are desirable; training is provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Levels 2 & 3 in Health and Social Care preferred; willingness to work toward qualification.
• Excellent communication skills and flexibility are essential.
• Experience in caring for people with disabilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Promote independence and respond to emotional and psychological needs.
• Assist with administration of medication and care planning.
• Support care team with 24/7 shifts including days, nights, weekends.
