Sherwood House, operated by Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA), is seeking a Residential Support Worker in Linby to support 19 elderly residents with person-centred care. The role focuses on helping residents live independently while respecting their choices and preferences.

You will lead shifts, assist with daily living, coordinate health and social care, and maintain accurate records. Full-time, on-site work with a 24-hour rota, training provided, and a welcoming, supportive team

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate shifts to ensure high-quality, person-centred support.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Coordinate health, social care and community appointments.
• Promote residents' independence, choice and wellbeing.
• Administer and record medication according to procedures.
• Maintain accurate support plans, risk assessments and daily records.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
• Provide guidance and support to Care Assistants and Support Workers during shifts.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming home environment.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and safeguarding concerns.
