Job summary

Cygnet Group at Oakhurst Lodge in Southampton is seeking a compassionate Support Worker (Days) on a 42-hour permanent contract, with 12-hour day shifts on a 7-day rota including two weekends per month. The role pays £13.45–£14.00 per hour and includes a range of staff benefits.

Experience with autism/learning disabilities is valuable, but attitude and person-centred support matter most. Fully paid training, pension, and career development opportunities are available.

Cygnet Group is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Support Worker (Days) to join our dedicated team at Oakhurst Lodge.

About The Role

We are offering a 42-hour permanent contract, working 12-hour day shifts across a 7-day rota, including approximately two weekends per month.

Shift patterns vary, with some starting as early as 7:00 am and others finishing at 10:00 pm.

Oakhurst Lodge is an 8 placement specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.
