Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Southampton is seeking a dedicated care worker for a 42-hour permanent role with 12-hour day shifts on a 7-day rota, including two weekends per month. The service supports adults with autism and learning disabilities in a safe environment promoting independence and community integration.

You will be joining a team that values compassionate care, good communication, and a flexible, proactive approach to supporting residents with varying needs. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

  • Understanding behaviours that may challenge with a proactive support approach.

Job description

About the Role

We are offering a 42-hour permanent contract, working 12-hour day shifts across a 7-day rota, including approximately two weekends per month. Shift patterns vary, with some starting as early as 7:00 am and others finishing at 10:00 pm. Oakhurst Lodge is an 8 placement specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.
