Active Care Group is seeking a friendly, reliable Support Worker in Rhyl to provide companionship and practical in-home support for an individual with complex needs. The role involves helping with daily routines, meal planning, and outings within a flexible, zero-hours arrangement.

The position offers part-time shifts (Thursday and Tuesday), with opportunities for training and progression through the Active Learning Hub and the Nest Pension scheme.

Job description

Location: Rhyl, North Wales
Hours: Part-time, flexible 4 hour shift on a Thursday and Tuesdays in near future.

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with meal preparation and planning
• Support with household organisation and domestic cleaning
• Help with ordering and collecting medication
• Accompany to appointments, activities, and outings
• Provide guidance with daily routines and planning
• Encourage hobbies and interests—especially DIY and practical projects

• £12.75 per hour
• You’ll also receive an additional 14.07% holiday payon every hour worked
• Full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from the Care Manager provided
