Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Female Support Worker to care for a client in her home in Great Haywood. You will work 3x12-hour day shifts, from 7am to 7pm, as part of a dedicated double-up team.

Training and ongoing support are provided, with a flexible zero-hours contract and consistent weekly rotas. You will assist with personal care, feeding, medication, mobility, and epilepsy care, ensuring patient choices and preferences are respected.

Qualifications

  • Experience in care is not required; full training provided.
  • Able to communicate effectively with non-verbal client.
  • Willing to work 12-hour day shifts and flexible hours.

Although the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the position is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.Meet the ClientOur client is a warm and friendly lady who lives in Great Haywood with her husband and much-loved dog, who is an important part of her life.She lives with Non-Fluent Progressive Aphasia Syndrome, which affects her speech, swallowing and mobility. As she is non-verbal, it’s important that her Support Workers take the time to get to know her, understand how she communicates and ensure her choices, wishes and preferences are always respected.She enjoys listening to music, watching films and spending time with others.
