Milestones Trust is seeking a dedicated care assistant for Dramsdon service in Shalbourne Village, Wiltshire. You will support five adults with their day-to-day activities, following individual care plans, assisting with personal care, meals, and mobility, while promoting independence.

Flexibility is required, including evenings and weekends; a driver with access to a vehicle is desirable due to transport limitations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care-related role is desirable.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures is advantageous.
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection guidelines
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support to individuals in line with their care plans.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and supporting with meals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to all individuals.
• Monitor and report any changes to individuals’ health or behaviour.
• Help with household tasks and meal preparation.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of those under your care.
• Paid sleep ins.
