Job summary

Case Management Cymru Ltd is recruiting a Support Worker to assist a client with Cerebral Palsy in daily living and community activities. The role requires driving the client’s vehicle, working within a multidisciplinary team, and upholding a warm, person-centered approach.

A full induction and ongoing supervision will be provided. Applicants should be flexible, patient, and capable of promoting independence while respecting client choices.

Qualifications

• Be willing to drive the client's vehicle.
• Ideally have a good understanding of the needs of a client with Cerebral Palsy.
• Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Full induction and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompting, supervision and practical support with activities of daily living.
• Encourage and enable the client to engage in meaningful activities and interests at home and in the community.
• Maintain a warm, patient, reliable, person-centred approach to support.
• Recognise when to encourage engagement and when to respect the client's choices.
