Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative is seeking a committed Support Worker to help people in Brecon and Churchstoke lead fulfilled lives.

You will support individuals with learning disabilities to make daily choices, join in activities, manage money, and stay connected with family and friends.

We welcome applicants with patience and empathy; full training is provided. A full driving licence and access to your own car are essential for transporting people to appointments and activities.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy for supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
• Ability to provide personal care with respect and dignity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to advocate for others and speak on their behalf.
• Good written skills to record events with empathy and meaning.
• Driving licence is essential for transporting individuals to appointments.
• Own car and willingness to use it for transport with business insurance.
