Job summary

Care and Support Services Ltd in Cannock is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to build trusting relationships and promote wellbeing for a young person in our care.

You will work as part of a small, consistent team, providing emotional and practical support, helping with daily routines, education, life skills, and safeguarding.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with vulnerable young people, ideally in a residential or education setting.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to enrol within 6 months).
  • Strong communication, patience, and emotional resilience.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, risk, and trauma-informed care.
  • Flexible availability including sleep-ins, evenings, and weekends.
