Job summary

Radiantcarehomes in Reading is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help children aged 8–17 with emotional, behavioural, or complex needs. You will support daily routines, education, activities and emotional wellbeing in a caring team.

No prior experience required; full training provided and progression opportunities. Shifts include weekends and sleep-ins; Enhanced DBS is required; you will join a friendly, values-driven environment with ongoing qualifications.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to complete.
• Previous experience in childcare or youth support is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.

• Promote independence and positive relationships.
• Help manage challenging behaviour using training and guidance.
• Keep accurate records and report concerns appropriately.
