Job summary

Leonard Cheshire is seeking caring individuals to support adults with disabilities across daily living tasks, meals, medication, and independent living. You will accompany residents to appointments, activities, and social events, while maintaining accurate records. A strong, empathetic approach and flexible weekend availability are essential to helping residents live with dignity and choice.

No prior care experience? Training will be provided to develop the necessary skills and confidence.

• Warm, friendly and empathetic approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends.
• Personal care experience (helpful, but not essential).
• A genuine desire to help others and make a difference.

Your working hours

We offer occasional hours.

You’ll need to be flexible to work across weekdays and weekends, and day and night shifts.

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.
