Job summary

Nani Recruitment Ltd is recruiting experienced Support Workers with British Sign Language (BSL) skills for care and support services across the UK. Applicants must have BSL Level 2 or above, be able to communicate with service users using sign language, and hold the right to work in the UK with up-to-date care training.

DBS on Update Service or willingness to complete DBS is required, and professional references are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker or similar role in care settings.

• - British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or above
• - Confident communicating with service users using sign language

• - Up-to-date mandatory care training
• - Ability to provide suitable employment references
• - Good written and spoken English

Desirable:

• - Care Certificate
• - NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
• - Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or hearing impairments
• - Experience using Makaton or other communication methods
