Job summary

Priory Whitby and Scarborough is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Bridlington. The role offers varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, bank holidays) at £13.45 per hour for 36 hours per week.

You will provide person-centred support to help individuals live independently, assisting with daily routines, activities and community access while promoting choice, dignity and wellbeing. Full training and DBS check are provided.

Full Time – 36 hours

Priory Supported Living Whitby and Scarborough has an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team.

We understand that flexibility is important, which is why we offer a range of shift opportunities. Shifts can include:

• Days
• Nights
• Weekends
• Bank Holidays

Day shifts range 8am to 10pm, waking night shift range 8pm to 8am, plus one sleeping shift per night between 10pm and 8am.

Priory Supported Living Whitby and Scarborough provide supported living services for people with a variety of support needs, conditions and presentations. This includes people who are autistic, have a learning disability or mental health needs. Our specialist support enables people to live happy and fulfilling lives in their own homes within their community.

What you’ll be doing

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred support to help the people we support live as independently as possible and enjoy the things that matter to them. Your role could include:

• Supporting individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Promoting independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing
• Supporting people to access the local community, appointments and activities
• Building positive and trusting relationships
• Following individual support plans and maintaining accurate records
• Working closely with colleagues, families and other professionals
• Encouraging and supporting people to achieve their personal goals
